The
SuNEC 2012 meeting will cover some of the latest developments in the
solar energy science and technology within one of the Conference themes.

Book of Abstracts of accepted contributions will be
produced and will be handed out at the conference.

publish manuscripts originating from the SuNEC 2012 meeting.
Delegates are encouraged to submit their work to EES -- whose
Abstract will be
submitted to SuNEC 2012 for oral or poster presentation -- shortly before or right after the
conference.
If accepted, their paper will be published
with a footnote where original presentation at SuNEC 2012 will be
mentioned.
Manuscripts can be submitted (in
almost any electronic format and reasonable layout), either by using
the
online submission service, or as an email attachment to ees@rsc.org. Author
guidelines are available on the journal's website at www.rsc.org/ees
All articles will be subject to
rigorous peer-review
according to the journal’s usual standards – if
accepted, they well receive great exposure, and will get significant
promotion.
Audience and Approach
All stakeholders in the field of solar energy are invited to attend:
from R&D and design practitioners, managers at solar systems
manufacturers and installation companies, research organizations, bank
and insurance companies to project developers and investors.
We envision a stimulating scientific event where
managers, policy makers, energy professionals, scientists,
environmentalitst, consumers, bankers and journalists meet in
one plenum to present and discuss all aspects of solar energy, opening
up possibilities of engaging in meaningful collaboration at regional
and global levels.
Call
for papers
We are now accepting abstract submittals for the 2012
SuNEC Conference program. Please submit your Oral or Poster
presentation abstract on-line by 31-March-12 using the
on-line submission form below.
The Organizing Committee has assembled a program
committee that is responsible for reviewing submitted abstracts and
suggesting additional speakers.
Deadline for submissions is 31-March-12.
Abstracts for oral and poster communications should be submitted
electronically following the template and the instructions given below.
Guidance for Preparation of Abstracts
Download the template
(Microsoft Word format, .doc file). Prepare abstract by directly typing
into the document (1 A4 page maximum, directly insert graphics and
schemes, provide references).
Save abstract under a file name containg your name
e.g. "john_smith.doc" (Microsoft Word format, .doc file) and submit
abstract only electronically by by e-mailing your
attached file to: rosaria.ciriminna@ismn.cnr.it
Submissions by mail or fax cannot be processed.

The abstract must be submitted as Microsoft Word Document (*.doc) or
Rich Text File (*.rtf) according to the following rules. You are kindly
asked to download

Instructions
for Poster Presentation
Posters should be 1.20 m high and 0.90 m wide.
Abstracts scheduled for presentation in poster sessions will be grouped
by topic, numbered and listed in the Final Program.
The poster boards will be numbered according to the
program. Authors are requested to be in front of their poster during
the official session time.
On printing your poster, please do not exceed the 1.2m
lenght in order to not incur in fitting problems when mounting your
poster. Compact posters printed on one large sheet of paper is highly
recommended.
Projection Equipment
The conference lecture hall will be equipped with single slide and
overhead projectors and a high-resolution video beamer.
Speakers are requested to hand in their slides --
format: 5x5 cm, in stiff frames, numbered correctly in order of
projection -- to the slide center at least one hour before
the beginning of their session (for the morning sessions in the
previous afternoon).
For PowerPoint presentations, speakers are kindly
requested to send their files in advance as email attachment; or to
hand in the file one day before their session on
electronic media. We kindly ask you to use the provided equipment
instead of your own laptop to avoid technical problems.
For those using, other types of video presentation
softwares an own laptop must be used.
